Who You Are

You're an experienced operational leader with a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives that align with business objectives. You have a passion for leading and motivating high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You know how to develop and communicate a sense of core purpose with your teams, inspiring and empowering them to achieve their maximum potential.

You are a highly motivated individual who (1) thrives in a real-time information environment; (2) is a mission-oriented team player who wants to make an impact on the world; and (3) is innovative and can multi-task across a wide range of geographic and thematic areas.

Responsibilities

  • Strong leader than can manage, motivate, and develop a team focused on training our AI models that detect breaking information for our three product verticals: Public Sector, Corporate Risk, and News
  • Ability to lead and develop talent, communicate company priorities, shifts in strategy, and new initiatives that directly impact the team’s daily operations
  • Closely monitor and analyze reports, metrics, and SOPs ensuring high-quality work product
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional team leads to develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational KPIs and goals
  • Collaborate and communicate in a team-centric environment on daily priorities
  • Identify any software issues to elevate to our product and engineering teams

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Deep understanding of geopolitical risk issues
  • Experience directly managing, leading, and influencing a diverse team across multiple disciplines
  • Passion for breaking information, current world events, technology, and a great understanding of both social media and publicly available data
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and scaled-operations capabilities
  • Excellent ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage smooth workflows
  • Drive to develop new approaches which further improve operational effectiveness for teams
  • Intellectually curious with a life-long passion for learning
  • Foreign language expertise a plus
