    Job Description
    • Ensuring correct processing of customer orders either manually or via EDI.
    • Supporting of 'in time' deliveries of series production parts to the UK customer from worldwide Bosch production plants.
    • Monitoring and analysing of general supply problems - identify and implement improvements.
    • To coordinate the run in/ run out processes of any series parts through effective liaison with sales teams, plants and customers with specific attention to production lead times and agreed contractual liabilities.
    • Support coordination of engineering changes to ensure minimum discrepancy.
    • Recruitment and management of an intern. Responsible for training and intern development, as well as acting as the first escalation point for the intern

    Qualifications
    •  Educated to degree level or equivalent.
    • Understanding of logistic supply chain/ basic planning processes (Order-Production-delivery)
    • Previous work experience in a customer logistic or customer planning environment is advantageous
    • Understanding and interest in the Automotive industry
    • Good command of the English– spoken and written. German language Skills desirable
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • SAP knowledge
    • Clean driving licence
    • Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills (customer service skills)
    • Self-driven personality and independent working style
    • Structured approach, analytical skills and interest
    • Problem solving skills
    • Team player
    • Good presentation skills are desirable

    Additional Information

    Please note that we would like you to start in August/September 2021 for a 12-month Internship. This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course. If you do not fall into this category, then please do not apply.
