As a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, this is your opportunity to join the multidisciplinary team at our new acute general adult unit at Farmfield Hospital, providing medical leadership and take on RC responsibility for patients across both General Adult wards with the support of a non-consultant grade doctors and a medical secretary.
You will be based on one ward with RC responsibilities for around 19 patients, with duties including:
Farmfield Hospital is a 80 bed purpose-built secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards, and two general adult wards, which is run by the highly-experienced Hospital Director, Gerry. The hospital is located next to Gatwick with excellent transport links to London and Brighton.
With excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) you will be able to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues and other professionals. You will also have good IT skills, which are essential.
