About your role

As the Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for owning the software development and leading the delivery team whilst also working with 3rd parties to deliver the new Petcare digital platform.

This role operates directly underneath the Head of Development and will focus on the day to day delivery of software projects working in conjunction with the Architecture function who will take care of the technical aspects.

There will be multiple squads the successful Delivery Manager will be responsible for, through their own squad leads. The technology stack you’ve worked with in the past isn’t directly relevant to this role as it is more of a focus on the Delivery aspect. We work with multiple third parties which includes major technology vendors and an augmentation partner.

About your experience

You’ll have a strong track-record of Software Delivery ideally in an enterprise level environment.

Key experience required includes:

• Proven experience managing software development teams of 30-50 people
• Built teams and set up relevant processes
• Strong experience working with outsourced partners / third parties
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience of presenting to technical and non-technical audiences

Ecommerce experience would be highly desirable but not essential.
