Facilities Supervisor in Northampton

each and every year. Our Distribution Centre in Northampton houses both retail and multi-channel operations. The site currently has approx. 650 colleagues with the capacity to expand the operation further.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a growing business as a Facilities supervisor User within our DC in Northampton, with excellent progression paths available.

Job Description

As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be working as a part of a small team. You will be working closing with the Facilities manager to optimize health and safety compliance, manage internal and external contractors and perform maintenance tasks within the distribution center.

Daily tasks will include the following;

• Perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Manage on site contractors.
• Manage a permit to work system.
• Ensure contractor compliance.
• Complete audits of facilities and equipment.
• Be part of the health and safety committee.
• Ensuring that all health and safety policies are being adhered to.
• Reporting, documenting and liaising with the management team.
• Asset management for picking equipment.
• Provide cover for facilities manager where required.

Details of potential packages behavior

• Salary: Band F working primarily a Monday to Friday shift pattern with an element of flexibility
• Hours: 40 hour week, extra hours and callout availability and weekend working may be required
