Financial Writer/Content Specialist in London

This forward-thinking, and thriving, mobile marketing company are looking to further strengthen their London based team, due to business growth, by hiring a content specialist with strong copywriting skills within the financial services sector. With the opportunity to devise and create your own thought pieces and lead on content creation, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further progress their career within journalism and copywriting.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- You will create and develop key opinion pieces of 800-1200 words regularly to cover key topics and areas of interest within the financial markets, with a focus on the US/Canada
- You will ensure that the content being shared is appropriate, compliant and engaging to the reader
- You will work with internal stakeholders and alongside an Analyst to use appropriate data and insight which can create a compelling story and hook
- You will also produce written content for landing pages and social media, as required
- You will bring ideas and suggestions which can also be utilised to create compelling content

Key skills required:
- This role requires previous professional writing experience from within the financial sector, either in-house within a brand or agency side, or possibly within a financial publisher
- You will be an exceptional writer with a strong understanding of how to write compelling content within a regulated industry
- You will be comfortable creating both long-form and short-form content
- You will ideally have an appreciation for the US and Canadian investment markets
- You will be efficient at delivering content in short time frames and be comfortable working at pace
