IT Teacher, SEND school, Part time, Nottingham, September start
Hays Education are working with an SEND school which specialise in helping children with moderate to severe autism from Early years to Post 16 to recruit an IT teacher on a part time 3 days a week basis from September
Your new role
In your new role you will be required to teacher innovative IT lessons to age groups from KS1 to KS4 . You will be teaching to children in a group capacity those of white has moderate to severe Autism so making lessons enjoyable and engaging is a must.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be a qualified teacher in ICT / Computer science and be comfortable teaching across the KS1 and KS4 levels. You will have knowledge of the curriculum's and be able to use these to create enjoyable lessons. Previous experience with ASD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH or teaching in an additional need's environment is desirable however full training and support will be given. you will be friendly and caring and be able to work with the staff teams where required to find best practises to help improve the children's education ready for when they leave school.
