Temporary Administrators

Location: Guildford; while we aim to provide working from home options where possible, there will be a requirement to attend/work within our offices depending on business needs*

Job type: Temporary

Duration: Starting August, some finishing in September or continuing until October.

Work Pattern: 35 hours a week; standard hours to be worked between 8am – 6pm weekdays, with occasional weekend work in peak periods.

Hourly Rate: £10.84 per hour.

Job Details

Schools have finished and soon GCSE and A-Level students will be expecting their grades. In order to support with the awarding and appeals of grades, as well as looking further ahead to Autumn resist, we are looking for individuals to join us on a temporary basis. We are looking for people who are willing to be flexible on a number of different tasks/processes, whilst working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Roles you could be supporting on include:

  • manual data entry and running processes; such as for appeals or entries for re-sit

  • error checking, quality control and quality assurance of information that passes through our systems

  • managing and prioritizing caseloads against pre-defined requirements

  • customer services – answering queries made via phone, email and online messenger chats

* Equipment will be provided, presence in the office on the first day for induction and equipment collection is mandatory.

We’re looking for people with:                   

  • great accuracy and attention to detail

  • ?strong computer skills - particularly in Excel and with the capability to learn and use bespoke systems

  • the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changes in tasks and processes

  • good communication skills - both written and verbal

  • the ability to work to deadlines, manage their own time and work effectively unsupervised
