The Role:

The Head of International Marketing is a key role in our go to market plans outside the US. The right person will be a member of our International leadership team and will succeed by hiring a team to build, execute and measure, demand generating activities across marketing outside the US. The role will support a direct marketing effort in the UK and Australia and a partner network of resellers in other territories. This role will also serve as a point of contact for demand generation best practice for these partners.

Experiences 

  • 7+ years professional acquisition marketing experience.
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in the education category and ideally with software as a service models. 
  • Experience with campaign management and marketing automation tools. Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation (Marketo), and WordPress you’ll be hands on with these tools. Familiarity with Demandbase, Google Analytics and Adwords all a plus. 
  • Utilising an insights led approach to structuring, executing and measuring customer acquisition campaigns that led to rapid revenue growth. 
  • Outbound marketing experience, particularly with email; Management of content marketing initiatives and development.
  • Working in a multinational setting. Experience working with colleagues in different time zones, with different backgrounds; with customers and partners from multiple geographies.
  • Working cross functionally. You have been successful working shoulder-to-shoulder with other functions and stakeholders (marketing, sales, product, legal, etc); Having built teams is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with UK higher education and/or corporate learning and development markets a definite plus; startup experience

Responsibilities 

  • Help shape and execute a B2B marketing plan for Class Technologies in the UK and Ireland; adapt successful messaging and activities for channel partner in other markets   
  • Define and iterate channels for growth – among owned, bought and earned – with an eagle eye for efficiencies and hidden opportunities.  
  • Working with our US based marketing teams, extend and localise efforts across search, social, paid, content and events marketing activities
  • Manage demand generation campaigns optimized for goals (revenue, pipeline, etc.) specified by Leadership
  • Support creation of omnichannel campaigns across the buyer’s journey
  • Assist in the ideation and creation of content marketing, including the internal management of the content marketing process
  • Design and build automated lead nurture campaigns, including but not limited to landing pages (WordPress), emails (Marketo), Unbounce, graphics, etc.
  • Manage and execute our presence at virtual events, including pre and post event follow up, performance tracking, etc.
  • Regularly report on the results of marketing campaigns to the SVP of Marketing, C-Level and other internal stakeholders
