Trainee FA Quality Assurance Specialist in Skipton

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity for an individual wanting to pursue a career within financial services has arisen within the Financial Advice Quality Assurance Team.

The Financial Advice Quality Assurance Team is one of the teams within the Society that acts as first line defence for our members and the Society ensuring that we build strong and trusted relationships. The team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality and suitability of the advice provided to the Building Societies customers from over 80 Financial Advisers, assessing the accuracy of the onboarding of our customers and the quality of complaints handling.  

Main Responsibilities

What you will do for the Society and our members;

This Role comprises of Quality Assurance of the Societies Financial Advice Onboarding processes. This will involve ensuring processes have been followed and documented accordingly with feedback and guidance provided by you to our colleagues.  

You will work towards assessment targets ensuring a good level of quality whilst also maintaining accurate records. In taking on these responsibilities you will enjoy managing your own time, whilst completing any other tasks and duties determined by the Quality Assurance leadership team and ensuring all duties are completed within an agreed timeframe.

An excellent eye for detail will mean you can identify potentially negative trends within the onboarding process undertaking further research and analysis to assess any potential impact to our customers and/or the Society, reporting any concerns to the Quality Assurance manager.

In order to help maintain an appropriate level of job specific knowledge, to aid in the above responsibilities, you will undertake further training where required and ensure to keep an up to date CPD record.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will ideally have Excellent communication skills, highly numerate and attention detail. You will be required to be Competent in the use of computer and Information Technology with effective administrative and organisational skills. Experience within a customer focused environment would also be an advantage.
