Based in the growing Statutory Accounts and Business Services department, your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. The role is hands on and also includes a large advisory element so that you can add value to your clients. Managing your own portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for the production of Statutory Accounts for a wide range of businesses from a variety of industries, as well as preparing basic corporation tax computations. There will also be the chance to work on many large clients and you will be able to produce consolidated accounts. You will also be responsible for reviewing the work of a number of juniors. This department has had great success with both large firm candidates looking for a new challenge and also small firm candidates looking to step up to a larger firm.
To be considered for this new role (July 2021) it is likely you will be a recently qualified ACCA or ACA, with no more than two years of PQE. You also MUST have experience of using Caseware software. You will currently be an Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior working in a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a Top 10 firm and work with larger clients in a more established team with better progression to manager grade. Your current role must include the preparation of statutory accounts, as well as the preparation of basic corporate tax computations. It is vital that you are well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position.
