Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk in Borehamwood

You will be required to work 24 hours per week, and these can either be worked as 3 full days of split over 4 or 5 Monday to Friday.

This role requires strong Purchase Ledger experience and there will be the requirement to assist with Credit Control tasks on an ad hoc basis.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Process, post and pay invoices in accordance with purchase order system and company authorisation procedures
  • Reconcile supplier statements to the accounting system
  • Post supplier payment transactions to the accounting system
  • Reconcile and post credit card payments and petty cash items
  • Maintain purchase order system and responsibility for ensuring that correct authorisation procedures are followed
  • Credit Control tasks
  • Any general administration duties associated with the role

Skills and attributes required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Previous Credit Control experience
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Confident liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and committed
  • Good IT skills (incl MS Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
