We are looking for a student passionate about technology, who is currently in University looking for a placement year to join us in Manchester as a Software Engineer Intern for a 12 month Internship. The role will be full time as a full stack engineer.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions for internal problems
- Continuous delivery
- Provide technical guidance
- Determine how technology can be applied to meet the business needs
- Work as part of a cross functional team
Skills required:
- Understanding of Cloud based development practices
- Understanding of DevOps based approaches
- understanding of Linux Operating System mechanics to the kernel level
- 2+ years of Experience with at least one of the following, ReactJS, NodeJs, Python, Java, Ruby, Go, C, C++
- Understanding of Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and deployment practices
