What are you going to do:

What Young Peacebuilders Does

Young Peacebuilders (YP) develops partnerships, research, projects and tools that nurture peacebuilding passion and skill in children and youth in contexts impacted by destructive conflict. In this way YP helps prevent and end cycles of violence.

Role Background

We have spent the last few years developing the systems and tools to help organizations around the world develop and expand healthy child and youth peacebuilding clubs (YPCs). YPCs help young people identify obstacles to peace and then design, implement, and evaluate their own peace projects with increasing scope and impact. A growing number of organizations want us to help them develop their own YPCs.

Deliverables

  1. Review our needs and proposed plan and plugins (e.g. WP plugins: WooCommerce Memberships, WooCommerce Subscriptions, UserInsights, and LearnDash)
  2. Recommend a fitting WP theme and plugin adaptations to better meet our needs (e.g. CRM/ member management, payment system, gated content, LMS)
  3. Implement the agreed plan via a new user-friendly WP website using primarily existing WP plugins
  4. Test functionality post-launch and offer some education to the YP team so that we can use the system effectively (including uploading a few narrated screen recordings as instructional videos).
