BRIEF DETAILS OF JOB:

Customer Services Administrator to support the role of the Customer Services Manager in all aspects and to provide a high quality, professional and administrative service. To contribute to the achievement of the Company in accordance with its Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve inventory and service targets
  • To promote the Company in an effective and professional manner
  • To maintain confidentiality of all Company documentation within its possession
  • To support and liaise with the Customer Services Manager
  • Ensure all customer orders are checked and loaded onto Sage promptly
  • Allocate, despatch orders and invoice customer
  • Ensure customer queries are resolved promptly
  • Keep colleagues informed of any delays in arrival of product
  • Maintain supplier files
  • Inform suppliers of any errors and request credit notes or returns authorisations as required
  • Monitoring all outside supplier’s orders
  • Raising purchase orders within Company guidelines
  • Entering products received onto system
  • Price quotes and lead times from suppliers
  • Control returns in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Raising purchase orders within Company guidelines
  • Keeping all files up to date where applicable
  • Keep stock files up to date
  • Load supplier invoices accurately
  • Despatch suppliers and remittances and file copies as necessary
  • Raise purchase orders for supplier, arrange delivery of base product to them, and upon receipt of finished product, book into stock by means of Purchase Order system, or adjustment into stock as relevant
  • Keep serial number logs up to date
  • Keep customer spreadsheets up to date
  • Undertake training as required to fulfil the requirements of your job.

Although training will be given, you must have precious experience of sales order processing and customer service within a commercial environment

The hours of work at 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
