The Role:

We are recruiting for experienced tutors / assessors with strong backgrounds in delivering the business skills apprenticeship standards. This will include Level 3 Team Leader & Supervisor, Level 5 Operations & Departmental Manager, Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner and Level 3 Customer Service Specialist.

The apprenticeship standard you will be delivering is Leadership and Management, Business Administration and Customer Service, up to Level 5, and management level 3 in team leading.

Within this apprenticeship Standard there is a Level 3 diploma, functional skills in English and maths and knowledge, skills and behaviours; all of which culminate in an End Point Assessment which is externally assessed.

Interaction with students will primarily be through MS teams, unless client sites suggest otherwise. This will be a remote/home based role with some travel requirements.

You will ensure learners have clear objectives termly to support their timely progression.

It will be your responsibility to support learners through their learning journey to successful completion of their EPA

You will observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their Apprenticeship, to support completion of Work Based modules, EPA and meet the needs of the Awarding Organisation.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hold a TAQA Assessor Award, either A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Hold a PTLLS Teaching Qualification or equivalent
  • Hold a recognised qualification in a business services / management discipline at level 5 or above
  • Be occupationally competent in management
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Hold a Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above, or hold a relevant alternative qualification
  • Have experience in the delivery and assessment of apprenticeships in the workplace, with an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up to date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
