The client
Our client is an exciting and fast-growing telecoms company, founded in 2015 by a team of experienced and respected telecoms entrepreneurs focusing on the global distribution of refurbished mobile phones. With accelerated growth this business already employs over 70 people, with turnover exceeding £50 million in just its fourth full year.
Refurbished mobile phones are one of the fastest growing areas within the mobile phone market with annual revenues predicted to be in excess of £20bn by the end of 2021.
The combined experience of the directors within the mobile phone industry is over 50 years and they have an enviable track record of creating and growing start-up companies as evidenced by three separate listings in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list of fastest growing companies, and the recent Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Your new role
In this graduate sales position you can expect to take ownership of the prospect to customer experience. Dealing with new clients, converting them to trading clients whilst informing them of the various products the company has to offer. Supporting the business development, typically the role involves developing and servicing new and existing business opportunities within the mobile telecoms arena and opening up new accounts in the UK and Europe.
Duties to include
- Servicing and developing existing customer relationships
- Researching, onboarding and developing new customers
- Prospecting via LinkedIn, e-mail, calls and various other methods
- Manage all issues related to customer sales including delivery, timing, cost and quality issues by
fully understanding in order to maintain and develop customer confidence
- Ongoing analysis of customer requirements to develop the opportunity
- Pro-actively work with the Operational team to ensure SLA’s are met and exceeded
The successful candidate
- A minimum 2:2 degree from university
- Highly motivated, ambitious and confident
- Able to display strong negotiation skills
- Confident, tactful and persuasive manner
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Excellent people skills, a natural rapport builder
- A professional manner with good commercial awareness
- An outgoing personality, tenacious attitude, good listening skills
- High levels of persistence, a willingness to go the extra mile
- The ability to work on your own initiative
