Full-time, Part-time Bar Staff in London

We are a small independent free house pub in very popular Broadway Market in Hackney.  We have traded from here for over 32 years.  We are looking to recruit 2 members of staff to join our existing established team. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.  We love beer, we have 101 bottled beers and 26 products on draught from the UK, Belgium and the rest of the world. We also have a small cocktail list and lots of lovely wine and spirits. Good wholesome food is also a big part of what we offer. 

25 - 40 hours per week
Between £9.00 and £11.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • Welcoming customers at the bar area and asking what they need
  • Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations
  • Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
  • Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer
  • Cleaning the bar, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces
  • Taking cash or card payments from customers
  • Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends
  • Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers
