About the role  

As an Application Developer, you’ll be working on Pets at Home Apps that will transform the way in which we interact with our customers. 

You’ll both design and develop Android Applications as well as Road mapping Technology, understanding where improvements can be made and recommending suitable changes in practice.

This role will actively participate in the development of application solutions across a wide range of business requirements, enabling you to work with a variety of stakeholders and teams Where appropriate, you will produce re-usable components and services which can be used to develop further applications more efficiently. 

About your experience 

You’ll be a great technical communicator with the ability to articulate solutions and desired outcomes. With a passion for app development and an understanding of technology trends, you’ll be looking for an environment of change where you can really put your ideas into action.  

Key experience and skills required includes: 

• A good understanding of Android Software Development, the ecosystem and technologies in use 

• Knowledge of frameworks, patterns and practices used to develop software for Android devices  

• Experience of developing using Kotlin 

• Customer-oriented approach and outcome focused 

• You’ll ideally have experience of TD, CI, CD and iOS development using Swift or Objective C. 

• Results driven and highly organised
