About the role
As the QC Compliance Manager, you will set the framework, in which the Compliance team can then set parameters, to drive a continuous improvement approach to both product quality and safety standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our product development process and procedures are legally compliant and that we continually manage product quality and safety, interfacing with both internal and external customers to give full transparency of performance and to drive a proactive approach across the business.
This is a key role in our business. You will have responsibility for managing the Compliance team to be able to both lead and develop our suppliers to continually improve their processes and product performance criteria, all the time ensuring safety and quality standards are the best they can be, and ultimately provide the right level of due diligence and business assurance.
As the overall product custodian, you will ensure the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) for both Food and Accessories; and these should include the management and update of Quality Manual for the business.
About your experience
You will be proficient at audit procedures and able to conduct factory audits independently, detailing appropriate recommendations.
Your thought process should be on developing a Total Quality Management Approach and factoring in key measurement systems within the product and supplier life cycle to achieve this.
