Butlin’s is re-inventing the British seaside break at our three resorts in Minehead, Skegness and Bognor Regis, which attract over 1.5 million guests every year.
Overview of the role:
As a Resort Safety team member you will need to deal with a wide range of challenges which will require you to combine your customer service skills with your security knowledge. You will need to ensure that our guests feel safe and secure throughout their stay at Butlin's. Good communication is vital together with a fair approach to resolving any problems that may occur. Whether working in one of our licensed venues, patrolling the grounds or giving a warm welcome at the gate, the purpose of the role remains the same. Our guests' safety is your priority.
SIA licence is essential:
Regular patrols of the resort.
Checking our resort venues are locked and secured when closed.
Access control of our three resort entrances with a customer focused approach.
Welcoming our guests on check in days to the resort, providing the best possible first 2 hours experience.
Escorting cash in transit.
Responding to and resolving incidents in a fair-minded manner.
Offering first aid assistance to team and guests.
Responding to and dealing with fire activations
Documenting incidents by writing statements and completing report forms.
Working in accordance to Butlins', SIA and local licensing laws when working in our licensed venues.
Access control of our licensed venue's entrances.
Being part of a successful winning team that ensures a safe and secure environment of all guests and team on our Resort.
Live in accommodation available at discounted rates for those over 18 and if relocating to the area
The ideal candidate should have:
A ‘hands on’ approach
An ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a positive ‘people person’ attitude
Good communication skills
Be a committed team player, including being flexible on working patterns
Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Be confident to work on their own initiative when necessary
Strive to create a safe and secure environment for our guests and team
