Public Area Cleaning Supervisor

Part of the Accommodation and Cleaning Leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness throughout the external main guest areas and inside our our entertainment venues on the resort this role requires an individual who will lead by example and will demonstrate commitment to our guests and team.

The purpose of the role:

•Ensure the team are not just trained but coached and mentored too through role-model behaviour

•Cleaning the Swimming Pool changing rooms, public spaces and reception areas 

•Use and Maintenance of industrial cleaning machines

•Stock levels and rotation of all chemicals in compliance with COSHH

•Reactive to spillages, support the venues including external bins and pathways

•Cleanliness of all public spaces and toilets (not to include accommodation areas)

•Stock levels and rotation of all chemicals in compliance with COSHH
•Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and protocols, with the collation of all relevant documentation
•Responding to calls for cleaning support during the evening hours to maintain a safe and secure environment
•Deliver team training whilst ensuring it is always up to date and compliant
•Conducting on-shift team briefings on a regular basis, and acting on any feedback
•Carrying out any other adhoc duties as required 

Working hours: 40 hours per week in an evening role, including weekends. Shifts vary between 3pm - 1am during family breaks and between 3pm - 4am during live music weekends.

The ideal candidates would have:

•Proven experience of leading a team of people
•Be able to focus on the detail and work to a priority list
•Be able to provide an environment where the team feels respected and rewarded and can communicate open and honestly with you as a leader
•Be attentive, adaptable and be able to think on your feet.
•Have a "HANDS ON ATTITUDE"
•Have excellent inter-personal skills
•Be able to work well under pressure, multi-task and demonstrate a level of organisational skills
•Be flexible due to business needs
•A passion for cleaning would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
