Job Title: Assistant Store Planner

The role exists to support the development of all new and refit schemes, to ensure that all plans are well researched, and have clear rationale on differing options and are delivered on time. The role supports the Store Planners to develop multiple layouts, lighting plans, and fascia's, at any one-time whilst prioritising workload. This role will also include general administration duties such as updating trackers, distribution of plans, agenda writing and minute taking. Supporting the Regional Business Managers and stores with queries/amendments to their store plans/layouts in line with the agreed blueprints. The role ensures that all changes to layout rules are reflected within the Store Planning blueprints to ensure these are always a single point of the truth. |
General The development of the floor plans and layouts of all new and refit stores to ensure deadlines are met whilst developing schemes that look great, are easy to navigate and affordable within budgets. This role will also include general administration duties.
Operating Model · Contribution to the development of the Store Planning Blueprints · Completing the necessary steps on the planning process in line with the overall critical path · Investigating options and completing research to ensure the weekly governance forum has the right option to approve individual floor plans
Merchandising & Stock Management · Following the space model to ensure floor plans match the commercial requirement to hit budgets · Clear reporting and escalation when the space model targets cannot be met · Utilize the current planogram solutions to achieve floor plans that are scalable and don't add complexity · Clear understanding of the commercial metrics behind each floor plan
Cost Control · Ensuring the recommended schemes can be delivered in the budget available · Looking for opportunities to reduce CAPEX
Store Design · Collating and checking adherence to budget the additional elements to refit schemes (lighting plans, fascia signs, flooring, back of house) · Noticing and reporting regular patterns and trends within the process
