Recruitment and Training Officer in Liverpool

Job description

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to form a long-term pathway in Recruitment/Training & Staffing Capacity with one of the worlds largest service providers, involved in some outstanding events such as the Randox Health Grand National Festival. The role will be varied, fast paced and will suit a confident and outgoing person.

Overall Responsibilities
•Lead the recruitment process of bringing in variable employees into the JCC North West Racecourses, Aintree/Haydock Park & Carlisle.

•Building quality adverts to attract applicants to apply for positions within the business across the Front of House and Back of House estate.

•To organise and host recruitment events to a professional standard in line with company Guidelines.

•Managing the Applicant Tracking System ensuring applicants are receiving timely, fair and appropriate responses to their applications.

•Interviewing and selecting suitable candidates to join our workforce.

•Ensuring all employees receive interview outcomes in an appropriate timeline.

•Delivery of all the relevant information that new team members require as part of their onboarding processes.

•Involved in the delivery of a 5 star induction process to ensure all staff receive the best possible induction into our business.

•Following team members through their initial working life with Compass Group to ensure practices are followed and they have the best possible start.

•Management of the FLOW onboarding platform to ensure all legislative and company policy is adhered to by candidates in before signed off to work for the company.

•Ensuring all Right to Work checks are completed and appropriate personal details are filed/stored in accordance with company guidelines.

•Onboard compliant workers onto the payroll and event system.

•Be a point of contact for applicants and handle any queries with professional care.

•Work with the Regional People Operations Manager and General Managers on developing recruitment plans and campaigns in accordance with business requirements.

•Consistently enhancing staff quality by assessing skillsets and providing development opportunities.

•Support the wider People Operations Team in HR, Deployment and Event days as and when required.

Requirements Experience in a Recruitment field, particularly in an events industry would be desirable.

Full UK Driving License with access to own car will be preferred, any travel expenses occurred would be re-imbursed.

The successful person will need to be flexible as recruitment events can be held across evenings/weekends and event support will be required.
