We are excited to recruit a number of Market Kitchen Colleagues to be part of our new Netherfield Market Kitchen concept, joining at the very beginning of its journey.

Market Kitchen is a brand new concept for Morrisons and is based within our busy Netherfield Store which is the second location to open following the successful launch of Market Kitchen Canning Town, London. 

As a Market Street Colleague you will make and serve Market Kitchen products to specification using appropriate equipment, ensuring product availability for our customers. Ensure customer confidence in good quality food, produced in applicable timelines, maintaining quality, fresh and attractive displays of food.
Work with Market Kitchen colleagues and Managers to achieve KPIs in Sales, Food, Health & Safety, & Customer complaints
You will listen and respond to customer needs, ensuring the resolution of their queries, giving the customers confidence in the high quality food with the exceptional standards of service. Part of your role will be ensuring food service and availability is maintained with regular quality food and safety checks as well as minimising waste through careful stock handling, date code checking, rotation and storage.
 
 
About You

You will have proven experience in food making / production within the food industry. You will be a great communicator who will share knowledge, experience and best practices being able to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

You will have a high standard of customer experience, being energised by customer interaction and committed to delivering the Market Kitchen concept to our customers. The ability to complete various activities, including physically standing, walking, pushing & pulling able to use equipment required within the market kitchen department

Relevant experience in hospitality environments, restaurants, hotels and more! food production, food service role demonstrating ability to work productively at speed.

You will be service focused, bubbly and welcoming, able to work at speed with a smile and an expert at managing lots of customers at once.  You will be ‘the face’ of market kitchen, so we need you to make an impact, and make your customers’ journey a memorable one.
