Innovation Analyst in Bradford

We’re looking for an Innovation Analyst to join our Technology team at our head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We’re looking for a passionate individual who has a genuine curiosity for innovation. You’ll work with stakeholders from across the organisation to discover and define problems and unmet needs and help the business to improve customer and colleague experience, enabled by best ways of working and technologies.   

You'll be accountable for:

• Identifying, mapping and tracking business problems and opportunities.

• Researching future trends across the market.

• Building productive relationships across Morrisons, listening to colleagues and customers to respond to changing needs. 

• Supporting the Digital Customer Experience and Innovation team to track and manage activity. 

• Maintaining project and idea logs

You'll ideally have the following skills and experience:

• An understanding of how to construct and conduct desk based research or the analysis of business data.

• Experience working in a range of business units or functions and therefore a broad perspective of a business.

• An understanding of how to build a credible ‘use’ case or ‘business’ case.

• Passionate about digital and customer experience: aware of the latest digital trends and acts as an advocate.

• Resourceful and proactive, with strong, creative problem solving skills.

• Credible influencing and stakeholder management skills across all levels.

• An evidence based approach to defining opportunities and calls to action.

New Ways of Working

The wellbeing of our colleagues is really important to us and we want everyone to have a great home and work life balance. Because of this we've introduced a four day working week for all full time colleagues based at our head office in Bradford.

You’ll be able to flex your working hours around the core hours of 10am-4pm, and can choose to do different hours each day as long as you’re covering these core hours. Each four day week will contain four average nine hour days.

To be more competitive and support our stores and sites more effectively, we now work over a six day operation, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and everyone in our head office now works one Saturday in every four (or 13 a year), albeit Saturday will be a shorter working day of 6 hours.
