Support Worker- Bank in Pinner

You must possess or be able to demonstrate you have an interest in the needs of people who have learning disabilities, mental health issues and behaviours that challenge. You will be delivering high quality support to Service Users in accessing community resources and activities identified as part of their Person-Centred Plan.

What are you going to do:

  • Ensure Service User's rights and responsibilities rights and responsibilities are upheld at all times
  • Service users are supported in all aspects of social and domestic skills training
  • Service users are supported in managing their finances and keeping appropriate records
  • Appropriate leisure and other social activities are made available to service users in accordance with their needs and wishes
  • Support and monitor service users use of prescribed medication and the keeping of appropriate records
  • Appropriate communication with multi agency professionals, staff, relatives and advocates including the completion of records where necessary
  • Service users are supported to hold regular service user's meetings
  • Service users are supported where necessary to engagements such as hospital appointments etc
  • The confidentiality of service user's personal information
  • Each service user is treated as an individula and their human rights are respected
