This role will be responsible for the overall co-ordination of the Supply Chain Development portfolio. The portfolio involves a suite of divisionally driven initiatives as well as wider business projects which have a direct impact on Supply Chain. The role will be the main pivot, making sure that relevant streams of activity are co-ordinated, providing programmatic support across the team and beyond. Liaising practically with central and other development functions and generally being the oil that helps the cogs of change work smoothly. Structure and communication will be key to the success of this new role in delivering an ongoing programme of systemic and process improvements and step changes. The role will work alongside colleagues across the whole business to deliver a coherent and cohesive set of initiatives. The Role will be responsible for detailed tracking across the portfolio, which adds to the control across the varied streams of work but does not burden them with bureaucracy. There will be stand-alone projects that the role holder will be asked to pick up, own and drive. |
About you
You will have a thorough understanding of programme management in the Supply Chain and upstream and downstream systems, as well as being able to articulate the position of projects in the context of the business-wide change agenda.
