Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00
Salary: £9.50 per hour
In your role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order (i.e. PAT Tested). Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to ensure that grounds are free from litter and the waste storage is cleaned and organised. You will need to PIN in on arrival at site and on completion of work. You will need to wear protective clothing (PPE) as issued, and shoes must be fully covered with tread and appropriate for the requirements of the role. Minimal jewellery to be worn for health and safety reasons (note - wedding ring and studs earrings are acceptable). You'll need to ensure all relevant safety signs (such as Wet Floor Warning Signs) are used correctly and appropriately at all times, and perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as apparent or as instructed by the Supervisor.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have a basic level of English, (reading, writing, verbal), previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You must be able to complete an Enhanced Disclosure in line with the Contract requirements, and you must have a full UK Valid Driving Licence.
