About The Role
We're recruiting for a RTITB (Road Transport Industry Training Board) Trainer, in this role you will ensure that drivers are competent and safe to carry out their roles within the warehouse and production team in order to deliver quality products to our customers.

Reporting into a Team Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Completing tasks in line with the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) requirements
  •  Take accountability for the competence of colleagues across site on driving counter-balance, reach trucks and electric pallet trucks
  • Responsible for all colleagues refresher training
  • Deliver awareness training about Material Handling Equipment (MHE) across the  site
  • Arrange and facilitate medical forms to be completed prior to training
  • Responsible for MHE policy breaches and ensuring all colleagues are adhering to their training at all times, supporting with retraining where required
  • Complete all training, test and compliance paperwork
  • Write and advise managers on the content of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and training documents such as one-point lessons
  • Comply with all company policies including Health and Safety, Security, Hygiene standards, processes and specifications
  •  Working with the Site Management team to ensure completion of Risk Assessments are complete
  •  Support managers to complete a full review of any MHE related accidents on site
  • Work flexibly to support all areas of the business when required

About You
As well as experience of RTITB training you will need:
  • Knows and complies with all relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
  • Ability to influence Senior Managers to ensure driver assessments are delivered on time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build great relationships across the site
  • Competent in IT skills and using Google Suite
  • Ability to write and review SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and one point lessons
  • Demonstratable experience of delivering training, facilitation and coaching skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the RTITB requirements for driver competence and understanding of risk assessments
  • FLT (Fork Lift Truck) license is essential
