About The Role
We’ve got an opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our booking in/intake team at our Head Office in Bradford on a fixed term contract until January 2022. Working as part of the Intake team that manages stock, deliveries into and out of our Distribution Centres, you’ll support the operation to provide accurate estimates for inbound flow of goods, optimising intake windows, bulk space, pick and transport operations.

Great teamwork is key to the role; you will be working cross functionally with colleagues at all levels within the organisation to improve performance and ways of working.  
 
Overview of duties:
  • Administrate inbound deliveries to DC’s in line with capacity constraints ensuring flow of goods & resources are optimised.
  • Support the Supply Chain teams to maintain stock availability into all of the depot, by managing the booking of stock. 
    Build relationships with key internal / external stakeholders. 
  • Influence internally and externally, driving improvements and business activities.
  • Manage specific depot relationships, liaise with 3PL Hauliers, In Motion, Suppliers. Deliver Consolidator Strategy, optimising on existing processes and systems.
About You
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of a Retail Supply Chains
  • Understanding of Distribution Supply Chains & management of 3rd party contractors
  • Be motivated by a role that challenges you on a daily basis, tests your agility and satisfies your desire to deliver results 
    Be organised and highly numerate with great attention to detail
  • Be a team player with the ability to work independently to spot opportunities, solve problems and deliver improvement plans    
  • Be an analytical thinker and bold decision-maker, able to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data and create meaningful outputs.  
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to influence change across the business.
