With some 3,700 plus business lawyers across more than 100 countries, we have one of the most extensive legal services networks in the world. Because of the way our business is structured, we’re able to provide our clients with rounded solutions, incorporating multidisciplinary advice from our wider business areas. Working with us is not just about legal advice. It’s about seeing beyond uncertainty and risk to uncover new opportunities. It’s about harnessing the power of PwC’s global reach, local presence and industry depth to chart a future-ready path to success. It’s a unique training environment.

Legal Summer Vacation Scheme
You’ll rotate across two different practice groups, carry out research, draft legal documents and attend client meetings.

Programme
Our Summer Internships offer high calibre students the opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, and gain a valuable insight into our business and culture. You’ll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on live and interesting client projects. You will be doing real work on real clients so be prepared to get stuck in.

What you’ll do
To get a training contract with us, you’ll need to complete our Legal Summer Vacation Scheme. The two-week schemes for students run in the summer and will help you decide whether a career with us is right for you.

Do well and you’ll be offered a training contract with us – the start date will be flexible where possible.

Starting out in your chosen career will be exciting, stretching and challenging. But the rewards are well worth it. If you’re ready to invest plenty of effort, commitment, flexibility and passion, we’re ready to give you our full support and invest in your future.

If you’re working towards a professional qualification you’ll have time off to study, and once you’ve finished the training contract, we’ll carry on helping you develop your career with us. All routes offer you the opportunity to grow as an individual, to meet new people, and build lasting relationships that will stay with you for life. In return we need people who are resilient, willing to work hard, quick to learn, and who, above all, are passionate about going the extra mile to help our clients.

What you’ll gain
Our two-week paid Summer Vacation Scheme is a great way to find out how we work and see for yourself the ways in which we’re truly unique in the legal marketplace, gaining valuable legal work experience during your time with us. You’ll get a highly-competitive wage while you’re here. You’ll have the opportunity to join client meetings and calls, conduct research, practise legal drafting, join our seminar and training programme and work directly alongside our lawyers.

The scheme is our principal route towards securing a training contract with us.

What you’ll need
We generally recruit two years in advance for trainee solicitors however we’re flexible and allow applications from penultimate year (and onwards) law students and final year (and onwards) non-law students.
You need to demonstrate a keen interest in business law.
