About your role

As the Digital Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Digital Designers to maintain and update the Pets at Home website.

With a strong background in Digital Design, and a keen eye for detail, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Digital Design department, ensuring consistent branding and design standards are maintained at the highest levels across all online channels, collaborating with external brands and agencies where campaign activity requires.

Reporting directly to the Head of UX, you will play a central role within the management team, helping to develop the Digital Design teams capability, whilst providing leadership, coaching, and development support to achieve a highly engaged and motivated team of individuals.   

About your experience

• You’ll have a strong track-record of customer experience enhancement, creating high level designs and website optimisation.
• Key experience required includes:
• Proven experience of managing digital design teams or similar
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of working with various digital design software e.g. Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and familiarity with Adobe CC libraries)  
• Basic understanding of front-end design code e.g. html, CSS 

Experience with direct team management isn’t an essential skill, this would be a great opportunity to progress into management if desired.
