Admin & Accounts Assistant - Internships in Leeds (Remote Starts Available!)

The Administrator and Accounts support duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient integration of the main functional areas of the organisation.

ADMIN & ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
RES Electronics Ltd is a fast-growing company in the distribution of electronic components.
The Admin & Account Assistant is a busy role and a great opportunity for the right candidate to play is part in a dynamic industry where to gain new skills, experience and knowledge in a short time.
The position can be either home or office-based.
Responsibilities

Admin:

  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • Processing sales orders and issuing sales invoices and sales order confirmations
  • Dealing daily with our logistics partners
  • Liaising effectively with suppliers, customers, colleagues and service providers in order to secure
  • The accurate running of processes and operations
  • Maintaining, updating, filing sales and purchasing records
  • Contacting customers and suppliers to answer queries and obtain relevant information
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts
  • Undertaking with other tasks and dedicated projects as required
  • Assisting in social media administration
  •  To be responsible for always representing the Company in a professional manner

Accounts:

  •  Assist with book-keeping and maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
  •  Ensure payments, amounts and records are correct
  •  Update and maintain procedural documentation
  •  Process expenses requests
  •  Support with month-end duties and reports
  •  Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  •  Liaise with third party providers
  •  Comply with all Company policies and procedures

What we require:

  •  A can do attitude
  •  Preferably studying for/in possession of a relevant education
  •  High level of accuracy and attention to details
  •  A very good knowledge of Excel
  •  Cultural awareness and predisposition to work with teams of various countries and culture
  •  Language skills and previous experience in a customer-based role such as customer services, accounts or administration would be advantageous.
