What are you going to do:
Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for the smooth running of computer applications and ensuring that users get maximum benefits from them. Individual tasks vary depending on the size and structure of the organisation, but you'll need to:
- Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults and work with 3rd Party support to resolve issues
- Assist IT Manager in product selection and procurement of new services/systems
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports from IT Systems
- Support the roll-out of new applications
Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritise and manage cases
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with staff and other professionals, such as software developer’s and 3rd Party support companies
- Test and evaluate new technology
Staff training on new and existing systems
