Education Assistant in London

We’re looking for someone to help us with our Aveea Academy Afterschool Sessions. Our sessions bring STEM concepts to life, this means coding with robots, building bridges and towers, filtering and purifying dirty water and even cleaning up oil spills… all in the classroom. You’ll get to work with KS1 and KS2 children of varying educational needs. Our sessions run at lunchtimes and after schools, you will be helping the lead in inspiring the world of STEM to our future leaders.

1 - 2 hours per week
Between £10.00 and £12.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • Helping leaders with STEM sessions
  • Setting up material and equipment
  • Understanding the Health and Safety of the experiments in a school setting.
  • Help maintain a positive learning environment where pupils can feel confident and learn freely.
  • Helping pupils with experiments not afraid to get involved hands on
