Salary £18,525-£21,000 (DOE) Welcome Bonus from £750 to £1000 (depending on site)
What you will be doing:
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker, or have transferable skills from another industry, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week (37.5 hrs per week).
Elysium services across the South West
Spring House is a specialist community-based complex care service in Exeter for people with a learning disability and/or autism, located on Matford Road, EX2 4PD.
Pinhoe View provides 16 acute beds for women with enduring mental health problems in Exeter, where full medical, clinical, therapeutic and pharmacological (where required) care and interventions are provided. Pinhoe View is located on College Way, EX1 3PZ.
Wellesley Hospital is a purpose built 73 bed hospital in Wellington (TA21 9FF) for men and women with mental health problems, and a 13 bed service for people with a learning disability who may present with mental illness, personality disorders and an autistic spectrum condition.
The Woodmill is a new mental health service in Cullompton (EX15 1EA) for women requiring rehabilitation to support them getting back into the community, where conditions may include personality disorders, Autism and associated challenges.
