Introduction
As a Receptionist, you know first impressions matter. You'll be a friendly face with a welcoming personality as you greet staff, visitors and service users to The Bridge is Middlesbrough. 
 

You will work 8:30am - 4:30pm between Monday and Friday, where you will join the team to provide maternity cover as you control access to The Bridge. This will see you maintain a daily visitor book and issue, record and collect staff keys, radios and alarms. 

As the face of the service, you will accept and record deliveries and will be responsible for sorting these into the department in-trays.

You will manage the services switchboard as you provide customer care to phone call enquiries and will direct them to the correct individual/department. 

As a Receptionist, you will be maintaining an effective booking system for rooms/equipment, with a clear handover to your peers working the evening shift.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Initiate and develop systems and procedures to ensure a consistent, efficient service is maintained
  • Sort and process the daily outgoing and incoming mail for the service
  • Provide photocopying/Scanning support to departments 
  • Provide cover for colleagues within the department when they are absent and/or on annual leave

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communicator 
  • Excellent verbal and written English 
  • Experience using Microsoft 
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Access and provide your COVID Passport
