 The Role

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of all local marketing activity for store investment projects and support the Format function ensuring all new initiatives and projects in all new and refit stores are delivered according to the critical path. You will also own all projects within Retail Implementation that sit outside of new and refit pipeline.

Key to this role is partnering with all key functions within marketing to ensure we showcase, shout & celebrate the benefits made by the store investment programme, whilst also ensuring we deliver the best Return on Investment through a rigours review process. You will co-ordinate with Retail operations, Regional managers and stores teams to produce a best in class launch package and work cross functionally to ensure on time delivery of all Critical paths, whilst also supporting the business with key strategic initiatives.

  • Producing the full launch day activity from all key functions within marketing
  • Build and manage successful relationships with key steak holders to ensure key milestones are met and cross functional alignment is achieved
  • Develop optimum ways of working and model end-to-end critical paths to work to
  • Submit weekly reporting to Programme teams on progress, risks & issues
  • Create relevant standard documentation to support key processes
  • Develop and share programme / project progress & dashboard reporting
  • To support retail operation with key initiative to achieve strategic direction of travel
  • Develop and share programme / project progress & dashboard reporting
  • Proof reading of all external marketing activity
  • Seeking to maximise return on investment by appraising return on investment.
  • Working with marketing and to a budget and clear framework to deliver the best possible launch package
  • To be able to communicate effectively with senior leaders in terms of launch activity and project delivery
  • Liaising with external suppliers to produce key elements of the launch day package
  • Ensure everything we do is safe & legal
  • Regular post Implementation reviews held with key stake holders
The Person

The Person

  • Strong experience in marketing and project management or within a PMO capacity
  • Ideally experienced in retail or investment programmes
  • Strong level of computer literacy and presentation skills
  • Able to adapt and learn new systems, procedures and comfortable with working in a change environment
  • Experience of project work, working to and/or establishing processes and critical paths
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Good influencing skills – demonstrated by strong interpersonal skills, confident delivery, decisiveness and demonstrable self-belief
  • Strong organisational ability – can handle multiple projects simultaneously, hit deadlines and prioritise between projects
  • Strong customer focus (internal, external and end-consumer)
