Job description

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is a fast-paced area of our Deal Advisory business. Our M&A team is focused on adding value to our clients by providing a full range of financial advisory services across several industries and sectors.

On our four-week M&A vacation programme, you can expect real variety. We’re involved in the whole deal cycle, so it isn’t just about simply handling transactions. You’ll be undertaking client-facing work, providing advice and adding value at every stage – including on some very high profile deals. It could be that you’re part of a team advising a company on a merger, how to turn a struggling business around, or how to see a new acquisition through successfully.

This is your chance to gain experience on real time, KPMG projects. It’s your opportunity to learn new skills, enhance your CV, improve your commercial understanding and build your personal and professional network, all whilst getting your foot in the door of one of the world’s leading professional services firms. Plus, if you’re successful on the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to be considered for our M&A Graduate programme in the same office location starting in 2023.

In M&A you’ll face plenty of new challenges, but we’ll give you the support of a buddy and a manager to make you feel at home from day one. You’ll need to demonstrate an analytical mind-set - thinking quickly and logically with good commercial awareness and communication skills.

We’re reimagining how we work at KPMG. Our firm is creating a tech-driven business to empower and equip our people to be outstanding in delivery – through inspiring workspaces, innovative ways to collaborate, and hybrid ways of working. On your vacation programme, you may work flexibly across your location region – at KPMG offices, engagement sites and from home.
