Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed in October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.

We are pleased to announce a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship role within our busy and friendly Integrated Community Team for Cheltenham ICT

The successful applicant will receive induction and training appropriate to the activities they will undertake, and following this induction period will be enrolled to the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard (Business administrator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education).

The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.

You will work as part of the Administration Team to ensure the efficient and effective provision of administration supporting Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT). This comprises of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Community Nursing, Reablement, Adult Social Care and Clinical Professional leads.

This is a busy and varied role which requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties. Applicants should evidence an ability to be calm under pressure and a willingness to undertake and learn new tasks. A thoroughness and attention to detail are essential for this role as is the ability to manage challenging deadlines for information requests. A good telephone manner is essential, as is the skill to communicate effectively at all levels whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

The successful candidate will need to have a professional, caring and motivated approach to the role with a willingness to complete the apprenticeship. Apprenticeships are used to develop new work-based skills and cannot be used to gain the same or similar qualification. Please note that this apprenticeship is not within a hospital environment.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
