About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for a People Assistant to join us on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, based at our Swindon Head Office. You’ll be the main point of contact for the wider People Team, ensuring that queries are answered professionally and promptly, or escalated to other colleagues where necessary. You will proactively manage and be responsible for all of the administrative processes, ensuring all relevant documentation is obtained and colleague’s files are fully completed and compliant, in order to meet audit requirements, as well as Administer all colleague data (accurately and on time) by utilising the HR Information System or tools as required. This includes all transactional activities relating to the entire colleague lifecycle including but not limited to; on-

boarding/new starter documentation, change of contractual details, change to personal details, off-boarding.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to

  • Responsible for producing all letters, documentation and correspondence relating to a colleagues lifecycle of events specifically relating to transactional activities i.e. changes to Terms and Conditions and ensuring they are issued to the colleague and JVP(s).
  • Support the People Services Team inbox, whereby day to day ‘People’ queries are received from Joint Venture Partners and colleagues throughout the business.
  • Assist in the administration of colleague benefits as required.
  • Proactively co-ordinate the administration and notification to all appropriate parties including but not limited to; probationary periods, fixed term contracts, Right to Work documentation including Visa Expiry’s, National Minimum Wage, National Living Wage etc.
  • Work closely with your peers to ensure a seamless delivery of service is given by understanding their roles/challenges and responding to these by working together to deliver improvements.
  • Proactively look for ways to enhance service provision to all stakeholders.
  • Provide ad-hoc colleague data reports to individuals within the business as required

About You

The right candidate for this role must have sold administration skills, as well as a strong eye for detail. You must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and an understanding of SAP Success factors and Employment Law is beneficial but not essential.
