Return To Practice Physiotherapist - Community Care - COVID-19 in Bristol

Job description

We are Sirona care & health, a Community Interest Company committed to providing local communities with a range of high quality specialist health care services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. For us, it’s about the personal approach; we take pride in what we do and deliver the high standard of care that we’d expect for ourselves and our families.

In return we offer NHS Agenda for Change benefits including generous holiday entitlement, paid enhancements for bank holiday/night working, and the NHS pension scheme, a planned induction program, extensive learning and development opportunities, health and wellbeing programmes, flexible working patterns, staff excellence awards, in-house physiotherapy support and more!

We recognise that flexible working can enable everyone to work successfully, happily and productively to the benefit of both the organisation and the person. Having a good work/life balance makes an important contribution to your health and wellbeing. At Sirona care & health we offer a range of flexible working options. Not all will be suitable in every job, and we aim to make the available options clear when you apply for a job.

Please note: It is now a legal requirement for all healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated by 1 April 2022, unless they are medically exempt. This legislation applies to all health and care services across the country and therefore to all of us in Sirona, regardless of our role. We are a people-facing organisation and at any time any one of us may come into contact with individuals in our care. This means that all staff will need to have had their first COVID19 vaccination by their start date with us and have their second within 10 weeks. Therefore, should you apply for a role with us, you will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status or a legitimate exemption from these requirements as a condition of an offer of employment with Sirona care & health.

Inspired by the idea of returning to your career in Physiotherapy?

Committed to care and compassion and the desire to allow service users to recover in their own homes?

Looking to join a forward thinking organisation that will provide you with excellent support and invest in your career?

If you were previously a registered Physiotherapist and you’ve ever thought about returning to practice and kick starting afresh your career in Therapy, now is the time to do it with Sirona care & health. We have potential return to practice opportunities available in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, on both a part time & full time basis. You would join Sirona during a period of transformation and change. The recent award of the 10 year contract for Adult Community Health Services contract across Bristol, North Somerset and Gloucestershire (BNSSG) is a new and exciting chapter for us. Come and re-register whilst being part of this transformation!

We understand that during the course of their career, many Allied Health Professionals may not practise their profession for a period of time. This can occur for many reasons, including parental leave, extended travel, caring responsibilities or illness. Whatever the reason for this pause in your career, if you are now ready to come back to your profession and resume your practice, Sirona care & health is keen to support you in completing a ‘Return to Practice Programme’.

Sirona care & health actively supports the national Return to Practice initiative. We can offer you a range of flexible clinical placements within friendly and supportive teams, enabling you to complete the required practice hours. We will provide you with an experienced Practice Supervisor and Assessor to support you whilst in placement with us and to validate your final assessment. Full funding is also available to meet the costs associated with undertaking all specified study programmes and examinations with our partner, the University of West of England. To ensure that returning to your career in Physiotherapy is as simple as possible for you, we can offer you a tailor made, supportive, flexible and varied learning experience.

Please note, depending on available job opportunities at the time of application, there is also a possibility that practice hours can be aligned to available suitable vacancies within the organisation, should this be preferable.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, please in the first instance contact the Sirona Resourcing team on 03001245444 / sirona.recruitment@nhs.net
