This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic sister/charge nurse to develop professionally and expand their management/leadership skills by becoming part of the Nursing management team at Velindre.

A commitment to quality improvement and patient safety is a must. You will need to be dynamic with an ability to work on your own initiative and be able to Co-ordinate and prioritize care in a busy environment, whilst supporting and managing staff.

Ideally be at degree level with a teaching qualification, have a comprehensive understanding of cancer patients needs; advanced communication skills for advising patients, relatives and other health professionals along with excellent SACT administration and complication management skills.

You will join a forward thinking and innovative team who are committed to improving the care for patients receiving oncology treatment. Flexibility in approach and commitment to service is essential for this post as it will cover all nursing areas including inpatient, day case, and chemotherapy and outreach settings.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
