Senior Food Nutritionist (15482) in London

The purpose of this role is to use your nutritional expertise to shape the innovation strategy and plans for our healthy food and beverage range in order to drive business performance by inspiring our customers to take positive control of their own wellness with a continuous pipeline of unique innovative wellness solutions.

You will be a qualified Nutritionist or Nutritional Therapist who is passionate about putting the customer at the heart of what we do and exceeding their expectations and have a proven track record of working in a commercially focused role within a food and drinks business.

Key Accountabilities:

• You will work with the new product development team to use your nutritional expertise & understanding of the latest developments to help shape the product innovation strategies and rolling 3-year innovation plans for our food and drinks categories.
• You will work with the brand managers to develop compelling product propositions and strong reasons to believe based on strong technical insight, competitor and market knowledge.
• You will translate complicated science into easy to understand and compelling product benefits and claims
• You will work in partnership with the regulatory teams and product technicians from initial concept to finished product to optimise the product formulations and claims
• You will partner with customer service and the learning & development teams to create new product training and communication for our store colleagues that will drive engagement and product performance
• You will keep up to date with the latest scientific thinking and consumer trends spotting opportunities for innovation
