In a Full Time Finance Officer job in York, your main duty is to support with the finance aspects of the company.
Our client operate a bespoke database system which records all of their business processes, from sales quotes to receipt of payment from the customer, and reports for management. The finance system is part of this, and records all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and they have a single-entry bookkeeping system.
Teamwork is really important, because the Finance Team is a small team, where tasks are shared, and it is usual for team members to be able to complete a wide variety of tasks, and have a varied workload.
You will liaise closely with: Logistics and Sales Teams, occasionally with a customer or a supplier so confidence is key!
