Graduate Sales Development Representative in London

Alation is looking for energetic and motivated graduates to join our Sales Development team. If you have an upbeat personality and want to be on the front lines of a fast-moving start-up, we want to talk to you. Sales Development Reps are at the core of our marketing and sales strategies, helping us drive our growth. You’ll be learning integral skills that will foster your professional development in years to come. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate (2:1 and above) to join a Pre-IPO, Silicon Valley Data Catalog start-up, based out of London (location can be flexible within the UK).

40 hours per week
Between £32,000 and £37,000 Per Year

What are you going to do:

  • Qualify inbound leads and generate meetings for Sales Leaders/ Account Executives
  • Define an outbound strategy by researching Fortune companies to identify current and future Data Catalog trends/initiatives
  • Effectively communicate with individuals at all levels in the organisation, discussing the value of Alation to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work with both field sales and marketing to convert leads into qualified meetings
  • LinkedIn – social selling and lead generation activity
  • Salesforce – manage, organise and update contacts database
  • Outreach - experience with Outreach’s engagement platform (using Outreach for day-to-day tasks, such as creating sequences and making calls) would be beneficial
  • Consistently work towards deadlines and targets
