We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant tto join our Breast Care Services team based at The London Clinic's Duchess of Devonshire Wing (London, W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £24,387 - £28,394 per annum.

Job Description

To work under direct, or indirect, supervision with the Breast Care Team to provide assistance with overall day to day operation of the Breast Care Service, ensuring overall care and safety to patients, visitors and staff.

  • Job Type: Permanent and Full Time
  • Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To assist Clinical Nurse Specialists with administration support to assist the smooth running of the service.
  • Support the Nursing Team to deliver high quality patient centred care.
  • To abide by The London Clinic philosophy, values and behaviours.
  • To understand and follow the Clinic policies and procedures.

 

Skills & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Care or Care Certificate equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working in an Outpatient area within a UK Hospital preferred.
  • To have a background within surgery, breast diagnosis and chaperoning preferred.
  • Breast care pathway experience and knowledge in wound management preferred.
