Job Title and Grade:Registered Nurse Ophthalmic operating theatre Band 5

Location/Trust:Stepping Hill Hospital, Poplar Grove, Hazel Grove, SK2 7JE

Pay Rates (hourly):Days: £23.44 Saturdays/Nights: £30.48 Sundays/Bank Hols: £37.51

Skills/Responsibilities:

To apply for this post, you will:

  • Support the multi-disciplinary theatre team in the overall day to day running of either theatre within the integrated ophthalmic unit. This role entails scrubbing and circulating for ophthalmic procedures ensuring that the high quality standards of care that meet with “best practice” are maintained.
  • Responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and the implantation and evaluation of programmes of care.
  • As registered practitioner, you will assist in the management and organisation of the work as required.
