Morrisons are recruiting for a Finance Manager to support Horticulture Manufacturing. The role will be the business partner for the Flowerworld Manufacturing site and Lowlands Nursery. 

Flowerworld is a unique manufacturing site at Morrisons. It’s our only non-food producing site. With over 300 florists, each and every bouquet is treated with care and consideration before it leaves our site ensuring the best possible quality for our customers.

Not only that, we also use specialised techniques to check how our flowers are going to develop through their life, so we can keep them at their very best.

We make over 400,000 bouquets every week using hand tying methods and machinery. And this grows significantly at busy times, such as Valentine’s Day.

You'll be responsible for:

• Working closely with Site Managers, 'Head's of' and Commercial Stakeholders, providing insight on business performance.
• Budgeting, forecasting and weekly reporting. 
• Provide variance analysis and trending insights to measure performance, forecast and business cases. 
• Leading, coaching and developing the site finance teams
• Building strong relationships within central finance and the wider central teams.
• Consulting stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and identify opportunities to speed up and simplify.

Role Specific Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience managing a team of qualified accountants
• A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA
• Knowledge of financial and management accounting
• An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment
• Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills
• Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle
